Regular Chinese High School Course
According to Implementation Measures of Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Chinese-Foreign Cooperative Education and regular Chinese high school curriculum, Changjun High School International Department offers regular high school subjects-Chinese, maths, physics, chemistry, history, politics, biology, etc. to provide students with a strong foundation in Chinese courses.
English Language Proficiency Courses
Domestic and foreign teachers collaborate in English listening, speaking, reading and writing classes. The original 10th grade textbooks introduced from the U.S. help students not only smooth the transition from middle to international high school, but also build a solid foundation for the advanced language courses offered in 11th grade.
Courses of American College Entrance Examination
Namely SAT course: SAT is a test to evaluate students’ academic and logical thinking skills. Reading is the most difficult section requiring an extensive vocabulary and strong comprehension skills. Intensive academic English training is therefore the key to high score. To help students tackle those challenges, liberal arts courses and targeted reading and vocabulary instruction are offered.
AP Courses
AP courses refer to the Advanced Placement courses developed by the American College Board. Currently, over 60% of American high schools offer AP courses. Activities on and off campus Social practice
To enrich the life of students on campus and help them fully develop their potential, Changjun High School International Department encourages the students to participate in such various kinds of activities off campus as United States Academic Decathlon, ASDAN Business Similation, etc. Additionally, activities such as art festival, sports events and photography are held reguarly on campas every year.
